Happy New Year!
The 2009 season was another record setting year for AYF and AYC. The Nationals were a great success and the level of competition was incredible.
We also just wrapped up the 2010 Under Armour AYF ALL-STAR WEEKEND, and what a show our football players and cheerleaders put on in the Tropicana Dome! This was probably the best football game I have seen all year, and how incredible that the teams had less than 2 days to practice together! We will soon update YouTube.com/AYFTV with the… Continue

In memory of some great coaches and even better people!

The passing of
John Pont - Former NCAA Coach of the Year - (my college coach)
comprised a triple loss to the football universe.
Bill Walsh NFL Hall of Fame Coach -
Terry Hoeppner - Indiana Football Coach
Thanks for showing us that football is more than just the sport we love. Your teachings went far beyond our game and into the soul of your players.
You will be missed.

Can You Name 10 Ways to Show AYF Kids You Care?!

I'll go first.... and name 11 ;-)

1) Notice them,

2) Smile at them,

3) Acknowledge them,

4) Learn their names,

5) Ask them about themselves,

6) Look them in the eye when you talk to them,

7) Listen to them,

8) Tell them their feelings are O K,

9) Give them compliments,

10) Appreciate their individuality,

11) Tell them you are proud of them,

Now it's your turn to add to this list. What works for you?
